A treasure lies dormant beneath the plastic skin - at least when it comes to shredded cable and cable recycling. From February to April 2020, TRENNSO-TECHNIK® installed a turnkey processing plant for cable recycling for an English customer. The two-stage plant principle includes all shredding stages up to the fine disintegration of the cables, separation of the plastics from the metals and separation of the non-ferrous metals (copper!) from light metals (aluminium).
The turnkey system was of course supplied and installed including all steel structures and controls. The throughput is at least 3 tonnes per hour and is designed for 3-shift operation. The plant availability is over 90 %. This is actually quite close to the licence to print money... You can rely on TRENNSO-TECHNIK® when it comes to efficient treatment processes.
